breezy-training is committed to compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This page provides information about how we meet our obligations under these regulations.
breezy-training acts as the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. As data controller, we are responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data.
We process personal data only where we have a valid lawful basis to do so. The lawful bases we rely on include:
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. This is known as a Subject Access Request. We will provide this information free of charge within one month of receiving your request.
You have the right to request that we correct any personal information you believe is inaccurate or complete any information you believe is incomplete.
You have the right to request that we erase your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected or where you withdraw consent.
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as where you contest the accuracy of the data.
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently engage in such automated decision-making.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request within one month. If your request is complex, we may extend this period by a further two months, but we will inform you of this within the first month.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify you directly.
Where we transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. This may include using standard contractual clauses approved by the Secretary of State or transferring to countries with adequate data protection laws.
Given the nature and scale of our processing activities, we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. However, if you have any questions or concerns about our data protection practices, please contact us using the details below.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data or respond to your requests, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
